80 years, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family on December 13, 2024 at Erie Shores Hospice.
Beloved wife of Peter for 61 years. Loving mother of the late Wilhelm Janzen (2015) (Lisa), Abram Janzen (Margaret), Andrew Janzen (Elena). Cherished Grandma of Caleb, Emily and Seth. Daughter of the late Abram and Sara Bergen. Dear sister of Andres Bergen (Tina), late Helen Fehr (late Isaac), Agatha Enns (George), Sara Unger (Isaac), Judy Banman (Ben), Maria Knelsen (Peter), late Jacob Rempel (Mary), and late Bill Rempel (Chris). Sister-in-law of the late Jake Janzen (December 2024) (late Anna), Mary Klassen (John), Bill Janzen (Tina), late Tina Dueck (late George). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Katherine's family and faith in God were the most important things in her life. A special thank you to the staff of Windsor Regional Hospital and Erie Shores Hospice for their care and compassion.
Visitation at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Katherine's life will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Deer Run Church, 1408 Deer Run Road, Leamington at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Ike Unger officiating. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Wheatley. If desired, memorial donations made by cheque to Deer Run Church or Erie Shores Hospice would be appreciated.
