Phyllis M. Wlazlo (nee Koza), age 75, passed away peacefully on Friday December 13, 2024, at her residence.
Born in Newark, to John and Helen Koza, she grew up in Irvington and has resided in Westfield for the past 47 years. Mrs. Wlazlo was a registered nurse for 46 years, most recently working at the JFK Medical Center Edison, NJ. She was known for her avid craftmanship in needlepoint, crocheting and drawing.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years Lawrence C. Wlazlo; two sons, Stephen and Michael (Chrissy); five grandchildren, Olivia, Lane, Logan, Gabriel, and Lucas Wlazlo.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation on Wednesday December 18, 2024, from 4-8 pm, at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, NJ 07066. A Funeral Ceremony will begin on Thursday December 19, 2024, at 8:45 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 am, at St. Helen’s R.C. Church, Westfield. Interment, Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA.
