Margaret Ann Setina, 86, of Arma, Kansas, passed away at 12:32 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburg.

She was born February 15, 1938 at Frontenac, Kansas, to Francis and Ann (Gebhardt) Krusich She graduated from Frontenac High School.

On February 7, 1959, she was united in marriage to Larry Setina.

Mrs. Setina worked as a Paraprofessional for USD 250 – Pittsburg for many years. She also worked Arma Meadows Senior Housing.

Membership was held in the St. Joseph Catholic Church and Altar Society; Arma American Legion Auxiliary; and the SNPJ.

Survivors include two sons, James J. Setina (Kim) of rural Arcadia, KS and Jon F. Setina (Renee) of Springfield, MO; a brother, Jim Krusich of Pittsburg, KS; a sister, Mary Deplue of Frontenac, KS; and two grandchildren, Aaron James Setina and Ashlee LaVe Setina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a daughter, Lori Ann Setina.

A parish rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 18) at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Arma, followed by a Celebration of Life Mass at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 18) with Fr. Daniel Vacca as celebrant. Inurnment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be given to St. Joseph’s Altar Society or Arma American Legion Auxiliary.
