It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Daniel Luther “Dan” Naugle, age 61, of South Mountain, Pennsylvania. He entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 13, 2024, at his home, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.
Born on March 28, 1963, in South Mountain, PA, Daniel was the beloved son of the late Roy D. and Bessie (Bigham) Naugle. A lifelong resident of South Mountain, he was known for his kind and compassionate nature. Throughout his life, Dan served as a helping hand to many, always offering his support and care with a humble spirit. He found joy in the simplicity of life, often spending peaceful moments seated on his bench, enjoying the beauty of the world around him.
Dan shared a special and unbreakable bond with his sister Shirley, and it is with joy and comfort that we know they are now together again in the presence of the Lord, rejoicing in Heaven.
He is survived by his devoted siblings: Patsy Null of Myrtle Beach, SC; Marcia Greene of Waynesboro, PA; and Barry Naugle of New Oxford, PA. He is also remembered by his special sister-in-law, Betty; extended family members Robin and Dave; two cherished nieces; and many other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to honor Dan’s life and legacy will be announced at a later date and can be found at www.bowersoxfuneralhomes.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to help to defray the funeral costs. All contributions should be made directly to the family to assist with these expenses and provide support during this difficult time.
The arrangements are entrusted to the care of Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, PA.
