Marilyn Margaret (Mohowitsch) McLennan, 74 of Rhodes, Michigan passed away December 13th, 2024 peacefully at home. Born December 3rd, 1950 the daughter of Herman (Sam) and Grace (Weidman) Mohowitsch she was the last born having two older brothers, Neil and Dennis Mohowitsch.

After graduating from Midland High, Marilyn pursued to work in multiple different schools with titles as a cook, paraprofessional and bus driver. She also took on the role of being a scout leader as well as taking up sign language.

An avid reader of mostly nonfiction books she was passionate about learning and eager to share new experiences to everyone she met. Marilyn loved to travel abroad throughout the country, her favorite places being Dollywood and Hershey, Pennsylvania as well as Canada and Mexico. She enjoyed camping with her family and taking her boat 'Offspring' out on Tawas Bay. She was well known for her lavish style, especially when she showed off her crystals, jewelry, purses and many fur coats. Passionate about thrifting for most of the things she collected.

Marilyn had an infectious smile that would light up any room. An inspiration to many, her devotion shone through in everything that she taught. She will be dearly missed as she truly was one of a kind.

Marilyn leaves behind her loving husband of 36 years, Ollie. Three children Roger (Annette) Pacholka, Sharla (John) Rogers, Samuel McLennan. Grandchildren Elizabeth (Austin) Karasienski, Zachary (Emylee) and Jacob Thomson, Raja Pacholka. Ethan, Nathan and Natilyn Rogers. Great grandchildren Kyler, Jazzlynn, Odin and Laurana.

Per her wishes she has been cremated and would like to be thought about in any voyage upon the water.
