Joyce Elaine (Leber) Reisinger, 87, of York, formerly of East Prospect, died peacefully at home on December 13, 2024. She was the loving wife of Glenn Reisinger; they were to celebrate their 69th wedding anniversary on January 7, 2025.
Born in East Prospect, PA on September 17, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred (Dritt) Leber.
Joyce was a loving homemaker and worked for the former Danskin, the Canadochly Elementary School, and the East Prospect Post Office. She formerly attended Zion United Methodist Church in East Prospect, PA.
Joyce enjoyed puzzles, crossword Puzzles, playing cards and she loved to dance.
In addition to her husband, Joyce is survived by her children, Crystal (Paul) Grim of Windsor, Kimberly (Ken) Herbst of Wrightsville, and Rocky (David) of Greenwood, DE. She is also survived by her grandsons, Jeremy Grim of Dallastown, Major Jason Grim, USMC of Chula Vista, CA, Jonathan Herbst of York, and Matthew Herbst of York, her 12 great-grandchildren, and her 1 great-great-grandson.
Following cremation, a graveside service to celebrate Joyce’s life will be held at a later date in Riverview Cemetery, East Prospect, PA.
