Sue Barnhouse, 87

EAST LIVERPOOL – Marilyn Sue Barnhouse, of East Liverpool, passed away Friday morning, December 13, 2024, at Crossroads Assisted Living following a lengthy illness. She was 87 years old.

Born in East Liverpool, October 20, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Eber L. and Faye E. Diddle McGraw. For nearly 40 years, Sue worked as a teller and manager at the former 1st Community Bank in East Liverpool. She enjoyed her friends from her card club and was a member of the First Free Methodist Church.

Sue is survived by four sons: Scott Barnhouse and his wife, Ann, of Hudson, Joe Barnhouse and his wife, Heather, of East Liverpool, Eric Barnhouse and his wife, Lori, of Negley, and Mark Barnhouse and his wife, Jodi, of Copley, Ohio. There are 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Hester, and three brothers, Kenneth, Donald, and Robert “Potter” McGraw.

Pastor Dave Quillen will conduct a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
