Ann F. Yorick

Ann F. Yorick 86 of Tomah, WI and Lake in the Hills, IL died on Friday, December 13 at Touch of Home in Tomah.

She was born on October 5, 1938, to Norman and Frances DeGrace in Detroit, MI. She met her husband John R. Yorick there and they were united in marriage on June 1, 1957. Ann and her husband moved their family to Lake in the Hills, IL in 1968 where they stayed until Ann moved to Wisconsin to be near her daughter for the last several years of her life.

Ann was a home maker who loved art and learning. She earned her associate’s degree after taking a variety of classes that she found interesting, particularly psychology and art classes. Her favorite classes were photography, pottery and drawing. Many of her sculptures and photographs were displayed throughout her home. Ann also loved jewelry and was well known for her unique jewelry and her love of dressing up for Halloween.

Ann is survived by her children: Suzanne Yorick, Teresa Yorick, Richard Yorick and Sheri (Mike) Souvigny. Grandchildren: Debra Smith, James (Kelly) Smith III, Amber Suetos, Chelsi Yorick, Skye Yorick, Jordan (Rebecca) Souvigny-Boswell and Kiera Souvigny. Great Grandchildren: Kaleb Cuda, Sidney Goldthorpe, James Smith IV, Alayna (Hayden) Peters, Tieraney Mahr, Serennity Suetos, Tobias LaBuff, Lyric Soles, Melody Soles, Alayna Yorick, Cloud Yorick, Axel Yorick, Oliver Yorick and Benjamin Yorick. Great-Great Grandchildren: Hadley Craig, Hollynn Craig and Chad Peters.

She was proceeded in death by her husband John R Yorick, her parents Norman & Frances DeGrace, and her brother Norman DeGrace Jr.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
