Carosella, Lucia (Pastorino) of Watertown, died on December 13th. Beloved wife of the late Michael M. Carosella. Loving mother of Angela Carosella & her husband Alex Reveliotty of Watertown & Anthony Carosella of Watertown and dear grandmother of Massimo Reveliotty. Lucia was born in Campobasso, Italy and lived there through the Thirties and WWII with her large immediate and extended family including her late brother Osvaldo and late sisters Vittoria, Giovanna, and Anna Maria. She trained as a dressmaker, eventually creating wedding gowns for local brides. It was this profession that led to her eventually meeting husband Michael in 1965. Michael traveled from America to Campobasso for a wedding which Lucia had created the bridal gown for. They were introduced and after a short engagement, Lucia and Michael were married in 1966 in Campobasso. She then traveled to America not knowing the language or the culture and leaving her large family behind. She lived for 40 years in Bethel, CT were she continued as a seamstress (even making daughter Angela's wedding gown). Lucia relocated to Watertown, MA to be closer to her daughter Angela, son Anthony, and grandson Massimo. She passed peacefully under the loving care of her daughter, son and dedicated home caregivers. There will be a private Funeral Mass on Tuesday in St. Patrick Church, Watertown, MA with an interment at St. Patrick Cemetery, Watertown to follow. At the family's request, please omit flowers. If desired memorial donations may be made to Catholic TV Watertown, MA which Lucia watched daily. Arrangements are under the care of DeVito Funeral Home of Watertown.
