Orpha Louise Price, 88, formerly a longtime resident of Farmington, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Autumn Lake Healthcare in Elkins. She was born in Grafton, March 8, 1936, a daughter of the late Charles Jacob Bailey and the late Dorothy Belle Cox Bailey Lambert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Numan Keith “Chubby” Price, whom she married April 20, 1954.

Surviving are one daughter, Carmen M. Richman and her husband Jerry, Moatsville; one grandson, J.R. Richman and his wife Stacy; great-grandchildren: Willow, Lily, and Alex Richman, and Laurea, Lisa, and Malinda Price. She was also preceded in death by one son, Brian K. Price.

Orpha spent most of her life as a homemaker, taking care of her family. She also volunteered her time as a school crossing guard, a fundraiser, and at the Manchin Clinic. She was employed over the years at J& S Catering, Mama Kay’s restaurant, and Alasky’s in Farmington.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation services were provided, and no public services will be held. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.hutsonfuneralhomes.com. The Hutson Funeral Home is honored to serve the Price family.
