Anthony Russel Long, 54, of Greensboro, NC, peacefully passed away on December 13, 2024, surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with end stage liver disease.

Anthony was born on December 24, 1969 to Elton "Cutie" Long and Mary Antoinette Long in

Elizabeth City, NC. Anthony left Elizabeth City in 1995, but never forgot his beloved hometown and all the friends he made during his first 24 years of life.

Anthony was predeceased by father and mother. He is survived by his sister, Michell Long, United States Air Force, Retired Captain, brothers Elton Long (Amanda) and Donald Long (Sarah), who all reside in Greensboro, NC, his aunts Joyce and Justina Long of Elizabeth City, NC, his uncle Donald Long (Autrice) of Durham, NC, his nephew Kennen and his niece Shyloh. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Services will be held at Wendover Hills Church on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
