Larry J. Kline, Sr., 86, of Adrian, Pa. died on Friday, December 13, 2024 at The Ridge at Heritage Meadows in Ford City. He was born in Templeton, Pa. on March 23, 1938 to the late Thomas and Laverne (Thompson) Kline. He was retired from Allegheny Ludlum Steel. Larry was a member of Adrian Church of God. His other memberships included the Masons, New Castle Consistory and he was a lifetime member of both the Buffalo Valley Beagle Club & Buffalo Valley Sportsmen's Club. He enjoyed camping, gardening, hunting and bird watching.
He leaves behind to forever cherish his memory, his wife of 13 years, Ann Kline, of Adrian; daughter, Cathy (Mark) Bono, of Worthington; step-daughter, Carol (Robert) Hodak, of Kittanning; step-daughter, Cheryl (Dennis) Claypoole, of Worthington; step-sons, Kirk (Tanya) Hooks, of Kittanning and Billy Joe (Shawnee) Hooks, of Worthington; granddaughter, Megan (Jimmy) Boyer, of Worthington; grandsons, Brandon (Sam) Boarts, of Worthington and Justin (Sheila) Boarts, of Cheswick; step-grandchildren, Mark, Tony, Tim, Amanda, Sarah, Easton, Halle, Adam and Logan; great-grandchildren, Hannah Boyer and Grayson Boarts; five step great-grandchildren; brother, Sherwood (Helen) Kline, of Templeton; and sister, Georgia (Robert) Jones, of Indiana state. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Agnes Grace Kline; son, Larry J. Kline, Jr.; daughter, Brenda Kline; sisters, Lawave Atherton and Valjean Nunamaker; and brothers, Philip Kline and Thomas Kline.
Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington, Pa. Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Dec. 16, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Wes Lewis officiating. Interment will be in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery.
