Eleanor Rosemary Price (nee Skinkle) May 7, 1940-December 7, 2024

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Eleanor, peacefully at home on Saturday, December 7th. Squirt, as she was known to many, lived life to the fullest to the very end.

Beloved wife of Bill Price and dear mother of Lisa (Paul), Jim and Joe, and special grandmother to Emma. Eleanor was predeceased by her parents Clifford and Margaret Skinkle (West) and her siblings Lorraine Mahoney, Carole (Doug) Radford, Kaye (Bill) Hossack, Bryce, and Judy (Don) Frey. She is survived by brother-in-law, Pat Mahoney, many extended family members, and dear friends.

Eleanor worked at the Royal Bank in Hastings for over 35 years and was active in the community throughout her life. An avid curler and golfer, she hosted a charity golf tournament for 10 years.

A funeral will be held at Brett Funeral Chapel, Hastings on December 21st, with visitation from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
