Nancy Jean Wiggins Obituary

Nancy Jean Wiggins, 80, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away November 30, 2024.


Nancy was born to Tranquillo and Mary Ranieri on July 2, 1944, in Freeport, Pennsylvania. She was raised with four siblings, Bob, Jack, Barbara, and Patty.


Nancy was a loving wife to Willis Wiggins, Sr. for 50 years. Together, they raised and loved 3 step-children, Linda Wilkerson, Katherine Wampler, and Terry Wiggins, and son, Sonny Wiggins.


She worked many years at Tinker Air Force Base as the mailroom supervisor until retiring in 1995. With her newfound spare time, she loved gardening, playing bingo, going the casino to gamble, and ran a ceramics business from their garage about 8 years. She especially loved to make Christmas decorations, especially ceramic Christmas trees and ornaments.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Tranquillo and Mary Raneri; and her brother, Bob Raneri.


She is survived by her son, Sonny Wiggins and his wife Summer, of Moore, OK; step-son, Terry Wiggins of Midwest City, OK; her brother, Jack Ranieri; her sisters, Barbara and Patty; 10 grandchildren; and many friends and loved ones.


Visitation will be held on Sunday December 8, 2024 from 12pm to 8pm and Monday December 9, 2024 from 8am to 8pm. A funeral service will be held at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel at 10 AM on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
