Johann Mullings, born on June 13, 1935, in Englewood, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2024. She was the beloved first daughter of Helen and Joseph Thompson Mullings and the cherished older sister of Betty and deceased Brother Bob Mullings.

Johann grew up in Englewood, where she graduated from Dwight Morrow High School. She spent many of her adult years working in the medical field and later pursued a successful career in real estate before retiring in the 1980s due to a severe stroke. Despite the challenges of her disability, Johann’s resilience and creativity shone through.

A passionate lover of jazz, Johann curated an impressive collection of records, reflecting her deep appreciation for music. She was also a talented artist, expressing herself through her creative works. Known for her warmth, loyalty, and generosity, Johann was a loving sister, aunt, and friend who brought joy and kindness to those around her.

Johann is survived by her devoted sister, Betty Robinson; her nephew, Owen Mullings; her grand-niece, Jasmin Porcher; and numerous cousins and close friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Johann’s life was a testament to the power of love, creativity, and perseverance. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
