Seminole……Graveside Services for Raymond Lynn Lambert, will be held
at 1:00 P.M., Friday, December 6, 2024, at Gaines County Cemetery, Seminole, Texas under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home, Seminole, Texas, officiated by Christopher Jones.
Raymond Lynn Lambert passed away December 2, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas.
Raymond was born April 27, 1945, in Lubbock, Texas to Charles Wiley Lambert and Clara Marie Mannschreck.
Raymond graduated from Seminole High School and attended South Plains College. He married the love of his life Connie Powers on November 11, 1967, in Seminole, Texas. Raymond was an assistant manager at Henny Penny Food Stores and later purchased the stores with his partner, Truman Kidd, and became K&L Food Store and later IGA Foodliner in 1983 for twenty years. He was a member of the Lions Club, and served on the school board, and Economic Development Corp.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Clara Lambert, two sisters Margie Wright and Marie Sharbutt, a brother Charles Lambert, his father and mother-in-law Wallace and Katie Powers.
Raymond is survived by his wife Connie Lambert of Lubbock, two daughters Christie Lynn Gressett of Wolfforth, Melissa Lynn Bell and husband Steve of Lamesa, grandchildren Katie JoAnn Gressett and Sam Orth, Taylor Megan Decker, Carley Meredith Bell, Christopher Ryan Bell, and several nieces and nephews all whom he loved very much.
Family and friend’s visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024,
from 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Texas.
