Sarah Ann Moss Mowdy, 57, of Hattiesburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Moore Hattiesburg Chapel with interment to follow in Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Mowdy was of the Pentecostal Faith. She worked as an Administrator in the Medical Field for many years and loved her job.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorcey and Annie Moss and her sister, Mildred Welford.

She is survived by her husband, Randal Mowdy of Hattiesburg; her brothers, Marvin Moss (Marcia) of Hattiesburg and Allen Moss (Susan) of Purvis; her sisters, Phyllis Lee of Purvis, Edwina Dupree of Oak Vale, Susan Ulmer (Jim) of Beaumont, Patty Lee (Raymond) of Petal; her beloved cat, Skylar; and a host of nieces and nephews.
