Kenneth Lawrence Finch, Sr, of Brenham/Houston, TX went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the age of 92 due to a long illness with Congestive Heart Disease. Kenneth was born in England to parents, Lawrence and Rebecca Finch on October 1, 1926. He attended The Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville NJ & Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville GA as a ward of General Robert Woods Johnson II (the co-founder of Johnson & Johnson). After serving both England and United States during World War II, he married Myrtle Gibbs in 1949 and they immigrated to the United States. They had 4 children and later divorced. Kenneth married Nancy Fultz in 1966. Kenneth was a successful businessman and entrepreneur. He worked in various businesses until he was 90 years old. Kenneth is survived by son, Wayne Finch; daughter, Ann Nelms; son, Kenneth Finch, Jr.; and son, Mark Finch; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by both wives and both parents. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 11, 2018 at Creekside Christian Fellowship, 16628 TX-36, Needville, TX 77461 at 2:30 p.m. The family would very much like for you to join us in remembering him.
