Beth Boothe, age 65 of Hendersonville, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024. A
Graveside Service will be at the Historic Gallatin Cemetery on Saturday, December 7th at 11:00
a.m., with Bro. Julius Hovan officiating. Trey Brown, Joel Wallace, Eric Hawkins, Randy
Fulkerson, Bert Mathews, Randy Price, and Jimmy Donohue will serve as pallbearers. Ken
Freeze and Gary Hobbs are honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to
the charity of your choice. Beth was a longtime supporter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Mrs. Boothe was born March 28, 1959, in Gallatin to the late Avery N. Clark, Jr. and Xavia Bate
Clark. She is survived by husband of 26 years, Greg Boothe of Hendersonville; sisters, Mary
Louise Clark Brown of Hendersonville and Linda Clark Freeze (Ken) of Clarksville; nieces, Katie
Hawkins (Eric), Emily Wallace (Joel), and Mary Katherine Brown; nephew, Trey Brown; great
nieces and nephews, Avery, Sara, Will, Clark, and Sadler; and oldest and dearest friend, Eba
Hobbs. Mrs. Boothe was a graduate of The University of South Carolina. She retired from The
Mathews Company after over 20 years of service. Beth and Greg loved to travel. She was
devoted to helping others and she spent much time volunteering with the Junior League of
Nashville, among other organizations. Beth was an excellent baker and cook, and she always
shared desserts and meals with her loved ones. She kept in contact with friends and family near
and far, often sending treats in the mail to her nieces, nephew, grand nieces, and grand
nephews whom she adored. Beth was a talented gardener, and her yard was always the
prettiest in the neighborhood. She loved her pets dearly, and she leaves behind her beloved cat,
Sophie.
