Janis was born to the late Bill and Caroline Woodworth Cox on February 15, 1963 in Chicago, IL.
She is survived by her husband, David Smith of Murray; a son, Austin Quick of Murray; a daughter, Lisa Milkeris of FL; two sisters, Connie Mounts of IL, Kathy Knights of TN and four grandchildren, Alexis, Christopher, Nickolas, Madelyn.
