August 11, 2000 - November 29, 2024

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Nathan Archibald on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the age of 24 years.

Nathan was born on August 11, 2000, and was a young man with a heart of gold. He was funny, smart, articulate, and stubborn. Nathan had a great sense of humour and could find the good in most situations.

He loved snowboarding and had developed quite a talent for it. Skateboarding was another passion, and it became his primary mode of transportation. He was also very proud and happy to share how many steps he walked in a day. His prized possession was his Hyundai Veloster, a car that he was very proud to have bought and paid for himself. A devoted animal lover, Nathan shared a special bond with his cherished black cat, Guinness, who was often seen by his side.

Nathan was loved and cared for by an army of family members. He is survived by his parents, Greg and Christine Archibald; his brother Nicholas Archibald, his grandpa Bill Archibald and Rebecca; his aunts and uncles, Kathleen and Brian, Jennifer, Lynda and Bert, Chase, Stephen, Kathy and Ken, Lori-Anne and Ken; and numerous cousins.

Nathan was predeceased by his grandma Donna Archibald, his grandparents, Ken and Edith Jones, and his aunt Elizabeth Jones.

A Celebration of Nathan's Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Cochrane, 369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB), on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
