Ruby Jewell Joiner Obituary

Ruby Jewel Joiner was born on April 29, 1938, in Oklahoma to James and Annie Goodman. Ruby had six brothers and four sisters who have all preceded her in death.

She married Lee Joiner in 1955 and was married 41 years before Lee passed away. They had four children: Lynette, Danna, Joe and Leland.

Ruby was a great cook and enjoyed being surrounded by her kids and their kids. She made enough biscuits in her life to feed an army of cowboys, and did at many a branding. She and her friend Dorthy fed most of Whiteface, TX at some point in their work at the Antelope Inn.

She spent much of her free time in retirement traveling to see friends and family all over the US. Ruby was crafty and tried any new hobby she saw. She was a proud recipient of three certificates for computer studies and pushed herself to continue to learn even in retirement.

She enjoyed her Wolfforth Church of Christ family and spending time in worship and bible study each week.

Ruby is survived by her four children; six grandchildren; and two great granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lee Joiner and three grandsons, Trevor Joiner, Ross Joiner, and Brody Joiner.
