Jimmy Walter Gooch, 54 of Alma, Arkansas passed away Friday, November 29, 2024 in a local hospital. He was a 4th generation farmer and an avid outdoorsman and duck hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Don and Helen (Parks) Gooch; his sister Brenda McClure; his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife Nickie of 29 years of the home; two daughters Lindsey Nicole Morris and husband Trenton of Alma, Lainey Sue Gooch of Alma; two sisters Angela Rhodes and husband Gary of Hackett, Donnetta Smith and husband Ron of Fort Smith; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Ocker Memorial Chapel Van Buren with burial at Gill Cemetery, Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Family visitation will be one hour prior to service 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be Mike Malone, Mark Arnold, Jeff Painter, Shawn Abner, Trenton Morris and Remington Fioretti.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Otis Arnold, Bill Linder, Scott Scrivner, Mike Butler, Kevin Hudson, Shannon Oliver and Stacy Linder.
