On Friday morning, November 29, 2024, God called home Angel Vernail Davis, 55, of Mullins, South Carolina. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 20, 1969, to the late Mr. Willie Gye Davis and Geneva Davis. She was a proud graduate of Mullins High School class of 1987.

Angel accepted Jesus into her life at a young age. Angel served in numerous roles as a faithful member of Progressive Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ Incorporated. She served as the church secretary, a member of the choir, a prayer warrior and assisted on the kitchen ministry. She was a foot solider for spreading the Word of God with anyone she encountered.

Angel received a Bachelor of Science degree in Family  Consumer Science from South Carolina State University and her Master of Science in Counseling from Webster Univer-sity. After graduating college, she began her professional career as a Family Advocate for Dillon County Head Start. For the remainder of her career, Angel served as a Counselor for Trinity Behavior Care of Marion County.

Angel was proceeded in death by her father, Willie Gye   Davis. She leaves to cherish loving and fond memories to her mother, Geneva Davis; a brother, Willie (Kimberly)   Davis; 2 sisters, Carleta Davis, Genine (Marquis) Hodges, a spiritual daughter Aisha Livingston (Bernard); 2 nephews, Canaan Hodges and Kameron Davis, 3 nieces, Jessica Crawford, Tiffany Davis, Shannon Wimberly, 2 great nieces, TaShiana Raeford and Jasmine Carmichael, 2 God children, Ashier Johnson, Thai Livingston, a dedicated neighbor,  Theresa Durant and a host of aunt, uncles, cousins, classmates, church members, and friends.
