Maria Grieco (nee Cannalonga) passed on November 29, 2024. She was born on July 20, 1934 in Calabria, Italy to Pietro Cannalonga and Francesca DeLuca. Maria came to New York in 1955 and settled in Yonkers. Maria married the love of her life. Romano Grieco (deceased) on January 17, 1960 and shared 21 wonderful years together. She was a homemaker, a stay at home mom, and a fabulous cook. She is survived by her three children, Peter, Linda, and Christopher; her son in law George; her five grandchildren, Peter, Victoria, Giana, Nicholas and Darcy; her great granddaughter, Eliana, and many nieces and nephews. Maria was the sweetest and most kind and gentle person you will ever meet. She will be remembered for her fierce love for her family, her unwavering spirit and she will be missed greatly, but will forever be in our hearts.
