Shirley Ruth Dollison, 70, of Ferris, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 29th, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on December 24th, 1953, in Dallas, Texas to the late Charles Fisher and Kathleen Walker. Shirley was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering love left a lasting impact on everyone she met.

Shirley was known for her boundless generosity and her ability to make every person feel special. She was a woman of great faith, compassion, and integrity, always putting others first. Whether she was lending a listening ear, offering words of encouragement, or simply sharing a smile, Shirley's presence was a light to all who knew her.

Shirley dedicated much of her life to her family. She married her loving husband, Larence Dollison, in 1991, and together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and joy. She was a devoted mother to Becky Manhard and Jerry Ivey, and later, a proud grandmother to Steve and Jonathon Manhard, Amanda Vargas, J.D. Ivey, Noah Ivey, Jazmine Ivey, and Jada Ivey. Shirley found great happiness in spending time with her family and friends, often hosting gatherings and creating memories that will be treasured forever.

She loved to travel, fishing and camping, going on cruises and to the casino, taking little drives and looked forward to vacationing every year with her daughter Becky and grandchildren. Shirley embraced life fully and with a heart full of gratitude.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Charles Fisher, Kathleen Walker, husband Larence Dollison, brother Charles Russell Fisher and grandson Jonathon Manhard! Survived by her children and brother Charles Wayne Hector.

Shirley’s legacy of love, kindness, and grace will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
