He was the spitting image of what the “American Dream” was truly supposed to mean.
A decorated veteran of the Korean War, a father of 3 stand up men, A husband who loved his wife with such passion and authenticity, a wise soul always ready with the right words you needed to hear, a courageous entrepreneur, a man who did push-ups everyday through his 80s, a die hard Frank Sinatra lover, a grandfather, a frequent bridge player, a phenomenal golfer, and the best storyteller.
Many people say the nice things when people pass because that's how we want to remember them--they focus on the good, but this man lived an imperfect life with grace and humility that is hard to come by. I bet he greeted grama Ursie this morning right at the gates with a kiss and "How are ya, toots?" He always encouraged us grandkids to be ourselves. Making sure to cap his wisdom with "and that's the key"
The world needs more men like you. “The Final Analysis is”.. We will miss you deeply Papa. We are glad you’re in a better place, reunited with the woman who loved you most. Rest in peace, Papa.
