Mima “Doris” Ervin, 87, November 29, 2024 at her home in in Aurora surrounded by her family. She was born in Tolu, Kentucky on July 21, 1937; daughter of Kearney and Renva (Crawford) Porter. Doris was employed as a secretary for 47 years at Equipto Storage in Aurora. She enjoyed sewing and designing crafts for craft shows that she and her husband Jimmy participated in throughout their 67 years together. Doris is survived by her husband Jimmy, 2 daughters; Beverly (the late Wayne) Laechelt and Lori Seidelman. 3 grandsons; Nick, Joe, Dylan along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Paul (the late Jean), Duane (the late Marie) and Lois (the late Jim) Boarman. Family will be receiving guests Thursday December 5, 2024 from 10 am until time of service at 11am at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway in Montgomery.
