Audrey U. Sedivi, 86, of Shickshinny passed away peacefully during her stay at Bonham's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Stillwater on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Audrey was born in Carbondale on August 9, 1932 to the late James and Eltha Tyson of Carbondale. Audrey graduated from Carbondale High School, Class of 1950. After graduation she then moved to Philadelphia where she met her husband of 47 years, the late John W. Sedivi. She was preceded in death, in addition to her husband, by a son, William Sedivi of Warminster; sisters Dorothy, Erma, Josephine, and Alberta; and brothers Warren and Joseph. She is survived by her children, Sharonlee Goering of Clearville, Helen and husband Jack Ruffenach of Shickshinny, and Anthony Sedivi; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a brother, Albert; and a sister, Betty. Audrey had various jobs throughout her life but none were more important than raising her family. Family always came first. She enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren and watching them grow. Audrey had always helped so many people through the years. She had such a caring heart and was one of the kindest people that you would want to know. She was always there to help anyone she knew, which made her family seem endless. She will be missed by all. In lieu of funeral services there will be a family gathering to celebrate Audrey's life at her daughter's home in Shickshinny.
