Beba Tripar, 77, of Eastlake, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
She was born on June 9, 1947, on the island of Rab, Croatia.
A vibrant and kind-hearted woman, Beba found joy in helping others around her.
Beba retired from General Motors after a devoted thirty-year career. She was a proud member of St. Paul Croatian Catholic Church, St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church and the Croatian Fraternal Union of America.
Her life was filled with cherished moments, especially during her later years, which she spent traveling with her beloved daughter, gardening, taking on home projects, and enjoying summers with her family and friends in Porec, Istra.
Her pride in her heritage and her family was always evident in everything she did. Beba’s generosity, hardworking spirit, and warmth will forever be remembered by those who knew her.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Patricia; her life partner, Michael Ark; her extended family in Croatia, including step-daughter, Anita; siblings, Biserka, Milan, and Jadranka; sisters-in-law, Maria and Albina; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she cherished.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan; step-son, Ivan; and her brother, Josip. Beba leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and a deep connection to her roots. Her memory will be treasured by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
Private family services have been held.
