Billie Jean Wright fell asleep in death peacefully on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Billie was the daughter of the late David and Earnestine Daniels Wigfall. She was born on December 10, 1951 in Abilene, Texas. On May 23, 1970 she married the love of her life Alonza Ray Wright (Deceased) of Wilmington NC. They had three children, Terrence Ray Wright (Deceased) Marlon Dakarai Wright and Lateefa Jean Wright- Harvey all of Wilmington NC. She is also survived by two grandsons, Jaedin Austin Wright and Justice Ian Harvey; three sisters, JoAnn Jones (TJ), Harlene Coffer (Joe), and Brenda Jacobs, as well as additional extended family and a host of friends. Billie Wright was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that was happily married for thirty eight years. She enjoyed life with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed decorating/sewing and spending time with her grandkids. She dedicated her life to Jehovah and was baptized in the 1970's. She found comfort, joy, and peace in the resurrection hope promised at John 5:29 and Acts 24:15. Now that she has endured to the end and is in Jehovah's memory, she can rest. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm, Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 212 Futch Creek Rd., Hampstead, NC 28411.
