Carolyn Reynolds Critz Obituary
PORTSMOUTH-Carolyn Reynolds Critz, 92, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. She was born on March 31, 1932 in Concord, NC to the late, Claude and Brownie Reynolds. She was predeceased by her husband, Colon Wade Critz; and five siblings. She was a member of Churchland Assembly of God. Carolyn loved classical music and was a very accomplished pianist.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara C. Ford; son, Kevin W. Critz and wife, Sharon; brother, Danny Reynolds; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Churchland Assembly of God, by Rev. Larry O’Brien.
She will be laid to rest with her husband at Albert G. Horton Veteran’s Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8 PM.
