Paul David Trent, 82, of Everton, passed away Wednesday evening, November 27, 2024 at Ambassador Healthcare, Centerville where he had been a resident for the last three months.

A son of Claude and Anna Durham Trent, Paul was born in Connersville on December 28, 1941, and graduated from Connersville High School.

Paul served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era and received his honorable discharge in 1965.

For many years, Paul was employed as an over-the-road truck driver with Fraley and Schilling, retiring in 2018.

In his leisure time, Paul enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, riding horses, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include five daughters, Angela Smith of Fowler, Indiana, Shellie (Bryan) Perry of Liberty, Lisa (Bryan) Lutz, Angie Fitzgerald, Rachel (Jeff) Clark, all of Connersville; a son, David Trent of Connersville; fifteen grandchildren, Jessica Watts, Matt (Lysandra) Caldwell, Nate Caldwell, Adam (Courtney) Caldwell, Alex (Brittany) Fitzgerald, Olivia (Sadler) Kleve, Laila Fitzgerald, Anna Connaway, Emily Elliot, Brooklyn (Devin) Durham, Paigan Trent, Sierra (Kristopher) Roller; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Besides his parents, Paul was preceded by his wife, Mary Acosta Trent; a grandson, Jeffry Connaway; four brothers, Wayne, Charles, Claude, and Eugene Trent; and two sisters, Juanita Palazzo and May Sinko.

Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Pastor Mike Coyle will officiate. Burial with military honors provided by the United States Army Honor Guard will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery, Fountain City.
