Leamon Earl Livingston, son of the late Mary and Melton Livingston was born in Franklin County, North Carolina on August 14, 1951. Earl accepted Christ in his youth and was baptized in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith. His family moved to NJ when he was very young. He attended the local public schools and Eastside High School in Paterson, New Jersey. He served in the US Air Force and was stationed in Ogden, Utah until he was honorably discharged in 1972. Earl had many good times and stories to tell about his time in Utah eventually he found his way back to the East Coast. He was employed by IBM for eighteen years and later worked as a police dispatcher in Paterson, New Jersey. As a recipient of a double lung transplant for 15 years, he was truly blessed with a second chance in life and was never shy to tell his wonderful story. After the transplant and recovery, Earls new lungs also gave him new strength and he was selected and participated in the Transplant Games in MN which he was very proud. He enjoyed football, baseball and other sports and was a huge fan of the NY Yankees. He was preceded in death by his brother Isaac Livingston. Leamon Earl Livingson departed this life for a new journey on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Good Shepherd Penn Partners Philadelphia, PA. Earl is survived by his son, Tyrelle, two brothers: Charles Livingston (Pam) of St. Simons Island, GA and Troy Livingston of Hamilton, NJ; five sisters: Linda Livingston-Delane (Theodore) of Blakeslee, PA, Ruth Livingston Brown (Johnny) of Sicklerville, NJ, Joyce Livingston-Anderson (Stanley) of Louisburg, NC, Naomi Livingston-Jacobs (Franklin) of Gilbert, AZ, Tara Livingston-Hicks (Ardie) of Louisburg, NC; five aunts: Sophia Brodie, of Louisburg, NC, Pauline Clifton of Paterson, NJ, Ailean Bryant of Bunn, NC, Justine Lifsey of Newport News,VA, Pearline Kelly of Wake Forest, NC; one uncle, George Livingston (Theresa) of Louisburg, NC; sister-in-law, Rita Livingston of Portland, OR; plus a host of loved nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. We would like to mention special friends very dear to his heart: Starlet Jones, Johnny Carter, Erma Griggs and retired Sergeant R. Mather.
