Pamela Sue Perkins St.Clair, affectionately known as Pam, left this world on November 27, 2024, after a valiant battle with a rare brain disease. Born on April 28, 1970, in Long Branch, New Jersey, Pam's vibrant spirit and infectious smile left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. She passed away peacefully at Doey's House in Hagerstown, MD, surrounded by the love of her family and the melodies of her favorite tunes.
A proud graduate of South High's class of '89, Pam carried the tenacity and spirit of her youth throughout her life. She furthered her education at Hagerstown Business College. Pam was a dedicated employee at Ingram Warehouse in Chambersburg, PA, where she was known for her strong work ethic and the kindness she extended to all her colleagues.
Pam's love for her family was immeasurable, especially for her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She had a special bond with her Daughter Brittany, her partner in crime. She cherished every moment spent with them, imparting memories that will be treasured forever. Traveling with her sister brought Pam great happiness, exploring new places and experiencing the beauty of the world together. On their travels Pam loved singing and Linda would always say “Pam no singing” and they’d laugh together.
Beyond her professional life, Pam's passions were many and varied. She was a lover of music and movies, finding joy and solace in the arts. Elephants held a special place in her heart, emblematic of her strength and gentleness. Her dedication to animal welfare was evident in her regular donations to animal foundations, reflecting her compassionate and generous spirit.
Pam's resilience and humor shone brightly, even in the face of adversity. As she bravely fought her illness, which was discovered too late, she continued to inspire those around her with her tenacity. Pam's legacy is a powerful reminder to advocate fiercely for one's health and to embrace each day with the fullness of heart, as if it were the last. Her life is a testament to living passionately, loving deeply, and pursuing one's desires without hesitation.
Pam was preceded in death by her father, Charles St.Clair Jr., her mother, Mary St. Clair, her brother, Charles St.Clair III, her sisters, Sharon Angus and Alice Hurd, and brother-in-law, Daniel Hurd. Her spirit is carried on by her daughters, Kayla Shockey and her husband Jeffrey, and Brittany St. Clair, and her son, Brendan St.Clair.
