John L. Sullivan of Exeter, NH, formerly of Malden and Chelsea, MA, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 81 years. Loving husband of Donna E. (Roche). He was also known as “Sully” and “John L.” by many. Born in Malden, son of the late Timothy Sullivan and Clare (Callanan) Sullivan. Graduated from Malden Catholic High School in 1961, attended North Eastern University. He was the former Drum Major of the St. Rose Scarlet Lancers Drum and Bugle Corps. He was also a former Sales Representative for the Verizon Yellow Pages.



John had a wonderful, outgoing personality and had many friends. He was a true Irishman with an unbelievable sense of humor who loved to tell funny stories. He was an avid Celtics fan. He loved playing golf, and if you were looking for him, you could find him on the golf course. Loving father of Marybeth Orlando and her husband Dana, and the late Michael E. Sullivan. Loving and proud grandfather of Megan and Mason. Brother of Sister Therese Guerin SP of Cleveland, Virginia Brett of Hingham, Clare Dixon of Taunton, England and the late Mary E. Sullivan. You will truly be missed, Dad.



At John’s request, services will be held privately. Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St. Exeter, NH is assisting the family.
