Born, March 15, 1939, in Llanaelhaearn, Wales, Owie Ellis passed away at the Rosedale Hospice in Calgary, Alberta, on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, after a battle with cancer.
Owie will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends in Canada, Wales, and around the world.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Rosedale Hospice for the amazing care they gave to Owie. In lieu of flowers, donations in Owie’s memory can be made to Hospice Calgary (directed to Rosedale Hospice).
At Owie’s request, there will be no funeral service.
