Ms. Becky Moore, 82, of Lobelville, passed away Nov. 27, 2024, at St. Thomas Midtown. She was born Dec. 29, 1941 in Wynnburg, TN, to the late Benjamin and Susie McCrady Moore. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lobelville and last worked at the Pink Cadillac Drive - In. Becky was the youngest child in a family of six children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Kim Curtis; her grandson Ricky Sassi; her sisters Mary Kay Bell, Ruby Kemp, Sue Ray, and Nelly Jo Steed; one brother Rufus Moore; one daughter in law, Melissa Curtis; and one son in law Richard Sassi.
Anyone who knew Becky, knew that they could find her inside watching her favorite TV show "Family Fued". She also loved to spend time reading one of her favorite books. Every Sunday afternoon meant that the whole family would come to her house for family dinner, and you better have a good excuse if you missed it. Family was the most important part of Becky's life and she enjoyed every minute she got to spend with family.
Survivors include the love of her life Leslie Earl Curtis, Sr. of Lobelville; two daughters Rhonda Sassi, and Lisa ( Wayne) Warren, all of Lobelville; two sons Leslie Earl Curtis, Jr. of Waverly, and Terry Curtis, of Burns, TN; 17 Grandchildren, 47 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Becky will be missed by many other relatives and many friends.
