Accepting the perfect will of our Father, we, the staff & management of Whitfield Mortuary, LLC, publicly announce the earthly transition of 69 year old, Pastor John Marks, Jr. of Kinston, who accepted his ultimate healing on Friday, November 29, 2024, at ECU Health -- Greenville, NC. 

A life celebration will be conducted 11:00AM, Saturday, December 7th, 2024 at the Hickory Grove Church of Christ  - DOC (601 West Road -Kinston, North Carolina) with Pastor Robby Millard officiating. Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery. 

An inspirational wake will take place from 6:00PM - 8:00PM, December 6, 2024 at Faith Tabernacle United Holy Church (400 S. Adkin Street - Kinston, North Carolina 28501.
