Harry W. Long Obituary

HARRY W. LONG of Spring Mount, PA passed away on November 28, 2024 at Pottstown Hospital. He was 82 years old. Born in Norristown on January 26, 1942 and was the son of the late Howard K. and Frances V. ( Bean ) Long.

Harry worked as a Keystone Mack Truck mechanic and later was a self-employed contractor which focused on excavating. He enjoyed old cars, racing, roller skating and all types of animals. He was always quick to feed the animals and also known to be one that loved to share candy with the kids.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Betty (Spotts) Long, his daughter; Connie Long and his siblings; Gregory and Blaine Long

Harry is survived by his children; Vicki Eggleston and Tammy Long, his grandchildren; Nicole (Ruben) Cano, Joseph Hahn, Corey " C.J. " Eggleston, and Shebra Garvin, his great grandchildren; Quentin, Lliana, and Keini and his siblings; Janet Hysaw, David Long, and Howard " Kie " Long III
