Dean Byron White Jr., affectionately known to friends and family as Deanie, who passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 38. Born on July 12, 1986, in Owosso, Michigan to proud parents Dean Byron White Sr. and Sandra Marie Traub, Deanie's life was marked by his exuberant spirit and unwavering kindness.
Deanie grew up in Owosso, where he attended school and cultivated a love for the outdoors and mechanics. He channeled his passion into a career in landscaping and tree trimming where his hard work and dedication shone brightly. Beyond his professional endeavors, Deanie was known in his community for his willingness to lend a hand and his exceptional skill as a great cook and mechanic. His ability to fix anything was matched only by his outstanding intelligence and handy nature.
One could often find Deanie catching the wind on BMX bikes or riding motorcycles alongside his father. His adventurous spirit also led him to the excitement of snowmobiling, where he embraced the thrill of speed and fresh powder. Despite his love for high energy pursuits, Deanie was also regarded for his profound love of music, which was a constant companion throughout his life's journey.
Those who knew Deanie will forever remember him as spirited and life-loving. Family was his anchor, including his surviving parents, Dean and Sandra White, as well as his daughters Leigha and Maddie, who will carry on his legacy of warmth and generosity. Deanie was a brother to Miles and Catherine White, and his presence as a fun-loving and supportive uncle to Avery, Camerin, Hayden, Wyatt, Skyla, and Myra will be dearly missed, his grandparents; Robert and Lana Traub will also cherish the memories of him.
As we bid farewell to Deanie, we also honor the memory of his grandparents Ralph and Kay White, his cousin Shana Dumond, and his uncle Robbie Traub, who predeceased him, and who now welcome him into eternal rest.
In the midst of our sorrow, we embrace the indomitable spirit that Deanie possessed. With a big heart and an open hand, he never hesitated to help those in need, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His spirited presence will be greatly missed, but the echo of his laughter and the memories of his boundless energy will continue to inspire those he has left behind.
We remember Dean as an intelligent and handy individual, full of spirit, who lived his life with fierce love and joy. His was a life truly well-lived, and he will be profoundly missed by not only his family but by each and every person who had the fortune of crossing paths with him.
Deanie's story does not end here. It lives on through the stories shared by his brother and sister, in the smiles of his nieces and nephews, and in the hearts of his countless friends. May we all find comfort in the memories we hold, the laughter that still lingers in the air, and the love that will never fade.
