Karen Denise Kutzer, age 64, of Lovelady, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024 at the Harbor Hospice in Pasadena. Karen was born October 8, 1960 in Pasadena and was raised by her mother, Carolyn Salyers. She worked as an escort driver for oversized loads for many years.

Karen is survived by son, James Richardson of Crosby; daughter, Jennifer Preston and husband, Troy of Lovelady; grandchildren, Tory Preston, Tabitha Preston, T. J. Preston, Trenton Preston,, Tyler Richardson, Lucas Richardson, Marcus Richardson, Gabriel Richardson; great-grandchildren, Anna Smith, Brantley Smith, Colt Salmon, Levi Preston, Logan Preston; sister, Rhonda DePew of Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

She was preceded in death by great-grandsons, Danny Salmon and Liam Preston; mother, Carolyn Slayers; brother, John Sumrall.

A visitation for Karen Denise Kutzer will be held Monday, December 2, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel.
