Joan M. Cymboluk, 82 years, of Fremont, NE passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024 at Nye Pointe in Fremont.

Joan was born on April 2, 1942 to Merle and Edna (Jorgensen) Meier in Fremont, NE. She graduated from Fremont High School in 1960. She worked for Randal’s Grocery Store in Fremont for 17 years. In 1995, Joan married Chester Cymboluk. He passed away in 2017.

Over the years, Joan loved to sew, read, and listen to country and gospel music. She was a past member of the Fremont Church of the Nazarene.

Joan was preceded by her parents; husband, Chester; infant twin son, Jerry; sister, Luetta Gillette; and brother, Leonard Meier.

She is survived by her daughters, Denise Beerbohm and Annette (Rolf) Remshard; son, Jeffrey (Linette) Vesely; stepson, Todd Cymboluk; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 5 nephews.

Graveside service will be 1 P.M., Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont, NE. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the graveside at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.

Burial will take place at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
