Anthony “Tony” Bernard McAlister, 76, husband of Phyllis Bannister McAlister, of Belton, died Friday, November 29, 2024, at his residence.
Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Furman and Vivian Latham McAlister. He was retired from Anderson County, and he was of the Methodist Faith.
Surviving him is his wife of the home, Daughter, Erin (Jeremy) Patterson of Belton. 3 Grandchildren, Yates (Brantley) Paquette of Belton; Wila-Bergin McClain and Drennan Patterson. 1 Great grandchild, Brenner Paquette. Nephew, Jason (Betsy) Phillips and Niece, Ashley (Bill) Rutledge. Numerous great nieces and a great nephew.
He was preceded in death by a sister Cathy Phillips.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the Garden of Memories with Rev. Norman Black officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at Garden of Memories.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hospice of the Upstate.
The family will be at their respective home.
