Elizabeth J. Rebuck, 94, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, passed away November 26, 2024. Elizabeth was born on July 8, 1930, Mowersville, Pennsylvania, to the late Thaddeus and Lillie (Hamilton) Rebuck.
Elizabeth was employed at the Chambersburg Area School District as a cafeteria helper. She was married to Lester Rebuck on November 27, 1952. Together they enjoyed square dancing, playing cards, cooking, baking and spending time with their family.
Elizabeth is survived by two sons Garth W. Rebuck of Chambersburg, PA and Jeffery L. Rebuck of Newburg, PA, 5 grandchildren; Aaron (Natasha) Rebuck, Brandon (Shanna) Rebuck, Ryan (Hannah) Rebuck, Marissa (Dalton) Wolff and Lindsay Rebuck) and nine great grandchildren (Payton, Emerson, Piper, Olivia, Jack, Claire, Everly, Aubrey, Lainey), as well as sister Irene Byers and sister-in-law Lois Alleman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Rebuck, and siblings; Conrad Alleman, Richard Alleman, Milton Alleman, Clifford Alleman, Frederick Alleman, Leon Alleman, Anna Pugh, Virginia Hutchison, Pauline Kline, Laura Bailey, Mae Enetch.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg, as well as one hour prior to the service, both at the funeral home.
