Cindy Sue Bechtel Bollinger
Cindy Sue Bechtel Bollinger, 71, of Westminster, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Carroll Hospice’s Dove House. Cindy was born on July 31, 1947 in Hanover, PA to the late Charles and Ruth Bechtel. She was the wife of the late William Edmund “Bill” Bollinger, Sr. who passed away in 2011. Cindy is survived by; daughter Aimee Bollinger-Smith and her husband Jesse Smith of Glenville, PA, daughter Tamee Bollinger and her husband Greg Finnerty of Towson, and son William Edmund “BJ” Bollinger, Jr. of Reisterstown. In addition to her children, Cindy leaves grandchildren; Ashley Smith, Kyle Smith, Nicolas Finnerty, Madelyn Finnerty, Brady Bollinger and Connor Bollinger as well as her beloved Yorkie, “Mollee”. She is also survived by her siblings Dave Bechtel, Bonnie Wagner and Dixie Rand. She was a graduate of Franklin High School in Reisterstown and worked for the U.S. Post Office as a Rural Postal Carrier for many years. She and Bill spent many years involved with the dirt track racing community. Cindy enjoyed spending time with her friends and family playing cards, listening to bluegrass, gospel and country music. She enjoyed loved shopping at yard sales with her sisters. Her family will receive friends on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, October 26 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Jim Crocker officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations, in her memory, to Carroll Hospice – Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave, Westminster, MD 21157 or, online at www.carrollhospice.org/make-a-gift.
