James “Jimmy” Scott Bennett, 55, of Lakewood, passed suddenly at home on November 28th, 2024. Jimmy was born and raised in Wall, New Jersey. After graduating Wall Township High School Jimmy started his 26-year career as a mechanic for Clayton Block. He then went on to be a bus driver aid for the next 10 years at Seam-Tov School Bus Company. He was an avid NASCAR fan and football fan, his favorite team being the Miami Dolphins.
Jimmy is survived by his parents Walter J. Bennett and Linda Bennett of Wall, his loving wife of 13 years, Karen Ann Bennett,of Lakewood, NJ, his brother Christopher Bennett and wife Collen Bennett of Allenwood New Jersey, his sister Amy Bennett of Point Pleasant and her daughter Gianna DiLieto who was Jimmy’s niece and Goddaughter.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday December 3rd, 2024, from 2-5 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan New Jersey 08736. Entombment will be Wednesday December 4th, 2024, 10:30 am at Monmouth Memorial Park Cemetery, 4201 NJ-33 Tinton Falls New Jersey 07753.
