Charles Wayne Larm, age 69, of Boonville, passed away, unexpectedly, on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the University of Missouri Hospital.
He was born on June 4, 1955, at St Joseph’s Hospital, in Boonville, Missouri, the son of Gerald C. and Rosemary M. Larm.
Charles graduated from Laura Speed Elliott High School in Boonville. He was a member of the class of 1974. He married Nancy Rackers on June 16, 1984, in Jefferson City. She preceded him in death on January 21, 2022.
He was employed at Southwestern Bell, Toastmaster and retired from the Boonville Correctional Center as a Corrections Officer.
Charles was a quiet man who was very knowledgeable mechanically. He enjoyed working on tractors, cars, and other machinery. He was a lifelong member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. As a retiree, he enjoyed attending weekend and daily masses. He was, also, a member of the local Knight of Columbus. He and Nancy enjoyed spending holiday meals with family, especially, the nieces and nephews and honorary family member, Dale Dinwiddie.
He is survived by his siblings Danny Larm (Tina) of Boonville, Judy Moser of Boonville, Linda Steele (Randy) of Glen Carbon, Illinois; nieces and nephews: Stephen Moser, Jessica Leible, Marlana Zank, Nathan Larm, Joe Steele, Danielle Steele and their spouses. Also surviving, are several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nancy Larm, and brother-in-law Steve Moser.
A rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m., a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at SS. Peter & Paul Church in Boonville. Interment will be held after the service at St. Martin’s Cemetery in Pilot Grove.
