Jack LeRoy Kroeplin, 81, of Bemidji, MN died Friday, November 29, 2024 at Minnesota Veteran’s Home in Bemidji.
Services will be held in the spring under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji.
Jack was born October 2, 1943 in Bemidji, Minnesota, the son of Alvin and Ann (Kupka) Kroeplin. He was raised and educated in Bemidji. He served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1961 and stationed in California, and was honorably discharged in 1964. He moved to the Twin Cities where he did construction work and was a member of the Laborer’s Union. He then lived in Duluth for many years. He loved being on the North Shore especially canoeing and tenting. He moved to Bemidji in 2021. He was proud to be one of the first residents accepted at the Bemidji Veteran’s Home.
He is survived by 2 brothers Jim (Pattie) Kroeplin,
Pete (Connie) Kroeplin,
5 sisters Kay (Larry) Pealer,
Sandy (Wayne) Kiel,
JoAnn (Dale) Maristuen,
Kathie (Rick) Willadsen,
and Joy (Jim) Wheeler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ron, Terry and Tim and a sister Peggy.
