Elaine M. Brown, 86, of Woodbridge, passed away on November 29, 2024 at St. Joseph Senior Care and Nursing Home, a place she enjoyed living over the past three years. Elaine was born and raised in Jersey City, formerly of Woodbridge and Kearny and resided in Manahawkin since 2004. She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Pines Church. She enjoyed baking, cooking, painting later in life and planning Holiday parties. Elaine served on the Perry’s Lake Social Committee and volunteered her time at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin.

Predeceased by her husband, Donald J. Brown in 2019, parents, George and Elizabeth Longstaff and brothers, William and Fred. She is survived by her children, Jim and his wife Bernadette, Patti Kuzemchak and her husband John, Don Brown and his partner Susan Mark, Beth Ann Dispoto and her husband Frank, sister Doris Monroe, 4 grandchildren Keri-Anne Brown and her partner John Mazzarella, Nicole Don Diego (Justin), Kathleen Dispoto and Natalie Dispoto along with a great-granddaughter Meadow.

A Viewing will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 2:00-5:00 pm at Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home, 335 South Main Street, Barnegat, NJ 08005 and again on Monday from 9:30-10:00 am. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Monday at 10:30 am at St. Mary of the Pines, 100 Bishop Ave, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Cremation will be private.
